Trip Lang #12 - Canines and Felines - Philippine Animal Rescue

Dogs, cats, rats, birds and anything animal in nature, I am very close and very much fond of them. I have a dog and I’ve mentioned her on my previous posts. It’s been a long time since I become familiar with organizations that care for animals like PAWs and the likes.

I was browsing the net a few weeks ago and something caught my attention, a before and after picture of a dog. One picture of the dog was very skinny and kinda look like its dying. However, the other picture shows a healthy and happy one. I read the description of the picture and that’s when I first found out about Philippine Animal Rescue Team or PART.

PART has been helping Philippine canine (Aspin) and felines (Puspin) that have been long forgotten by their humans. I got interested in helping and signed up for their upcoming Adoption Drives.

First event was held at La Mesa Eco Park in Fairview. We met and bonded with the dogs and cat from the shelter. That day I look after Gelie and Hershey. These dogs were abused, abandoned and left to die by their heartless owners. PART with its big-hearted-animal-loving members started something that made the life of these poor animals better.

Here are some of my pictures from the first event in Eco Park.
